Leah Remini experienced that same "lone voice crying out in the wilderness" feeling that former JW's are so familiar with when the antlike cult member goes up against the big faceless machine they were once part of.
Their reputation is disparaged and they are made to appear to be complainers or troublemakers. The group they once were a part of, huddles even closer to the machine refusing to to acknowledge the validity of the same complaints they secretly have themselves, for fear that they to will be on the outside looking in.
The only difference between JW's and Scientologists in terms of anyone caring about them, is that JW's are typically voiceless nobodies, Scientology is made up of rich and famous people whose every move attracts public attention and interest.
